Say Not

Say Not

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk
"

How often must I tell him before he believes me?

"

Say not that You have tainted my Soul

Say not that I am sullied by the touch

Of the dear hands that I have been in the habit

Of kissing

Tenderly

With Reverence

Say not so, my Love

Say not so

Tears spring to my eyes unbidden

At the thought of You being capable of tainting anything

You, who are purity itself

You, through whom the Light of God shines so evidently

My Soul rejoices in Your presence

There Is Nothing That You Have Done To Wrong Me

I Do Not Regret
