Did You Not See...

Did You Not See...

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

Did you not see..
I wanted not the sorrow quivering in your subtle eyes
For that selfsame sorrow lay agonizing in my heart
Gently you pulled away
And stalked off into the distance
Thinking 'twould save me pain
Did you not see..what with all your marvelous
Heart and Wit
That I needed you to stay?
That any pain caused was sweeter
Than your going away?
You asked me not to sorrow, not to regret
And asked thus the impossible
Everything I would have given or tried to give
But to not regret?
Did you not see your own worth
Blazing in my eyes?
Did you not gather it from
The quality of my words?
Must your reason doubt the kingdom of my heart?
Did you not see...
No..that you did not...
And how I wished then that you would have.

Ohh i would say just the title speak lots and lots
did you not see how i ache for you
how it hurts to see much sorrow in your heart
you chose to stay away thinking it would relieve
my pain..i would rather that you stayed
never mind me i could stand all the pain and sorrow
just knowing you are here and near..you mean a lot to me
what can i say ..perfect is hardly a word to describe such
loveliness..saying its creative will hardly describe this
you really amaze me more and more
times really i feel i cant stand so much beauty
how you turn the words like they really talk
lovely write..
