Underneath...A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk
Underneath my laughs and smiles
Lie nigh four weeks of worry, sorrow, and Bruises from contempt Sleep though I would For lack of sleep plagues me I find myself unable To stray from the bitter end Miserable...I am not that I am weary and find myself Gradually growing numb And indifferent towards the sources of it Which serves to frighten me I feel lost and yet not so I am grown stronger Yet, all at a price I know not by what I am now disturbed Having been continually battered But all of this, comes with a smile All is not bleak I have yet causes for infitesmal joy You. © 2010 A.A.RomanczukFeatured Review
