Dandelions

Dandelions

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

In these buds lies all the disarming sweetness
Is held captive the sun
With vibrant tones of yellow
They graze the emerald landscape
Touching palms with the wind
With gentle smiles they beckon
Those who can see past
Their ungracious labels
For their Spring is short
Soon their yellows turn to ashen white
And from their hearts is sprinkled forth
Their very seed of existence
