Tea

Tea

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

Fragrant, earthy leaves
I soak my lips in your blood
I drink your essence
And feed my restless soul
Tranquility courses through my veins
Saccharine intoxication that intoxication is not
I breathe in the mellow vapors
And through them clear my thoughts
I burn my shaking hands
Caressing your containment
I drown my saline sorrow
In your amber expanse.
