Pathos

Pathos

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

I relinquish myself to pathos

I am absently present

Light darkens the chamber

Artificial compassion

Touches my circulatory apparatus

I am filled with longing

As the caged bird sings

I am tired without being tired

I am awake without being awake

I sleep but awaken tired

I Am

But Am I?

I wish You were here.

. ah, i know too well how that feels ... but could never have expressed my feelings so beautifully ... your writing is so inspirational ...

you take away
my presence
from me
and i thrive
in the absence
of the presence
i once was
for you
