Meet Me There

Meet Me There

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

Meet me there

Meet me where

The fortress crumbles into

The tempestuous sea

Underneath your earthen gaze

Passionate, soft

Framed by almond skin

And languid winter sun

Surround me with yourself

A man, simple

A man, luminous

As you tumble

All pretense

At defense

Meet me where your heart

Flows into mine

In the hall of mirrors

Where I find

That I am your mirror

And you are mine

Show me the places

That I am blind

Show me the ways

That you are mine

And I am yours

There where we fit like puzzle pieces

I did not expect to find

Myself so carefully held

With every soft word and deed

Meet me there

Another magnificent piece! The slight uses of repetition are expertly placed to be effective while not interrupting the flow. My only comment to this is again on punctuation. You have three places where you use a comma. There are plenty of other places where commas within the line could have been used, so it seems inconsistent to use them only in those three lines. I think removing them will not take away from the flow at all. Otherwise, amazing work.
