Be Sweet My Love

Be Sweet My Love

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

I must away at eventide then be sweet my love

As you ken well how loathe I am to yede

Come with me mine golden one for to sit upon

The brae where the sun doth make his sleepy climb

With weary, auld limbs, let us watch his resurrection

And exchange our ailing thoughts for the benefit of smiles
