A Light in the Darkness

A sad prose that I wrote in my dark times of youth.

I look past my eyes,

way out there where there is nothing.

 

A faint light glows inthe distance,

a light that reminds me of something.

 

A light, nostalgic and warm,

yet with a sense of a cold cut chill.

 

Will I ever reach the light,

to find out, to figure out?

 

Will you be my light in the Darkness?

 

Will you capture me and never let me go?

 

I've already realized though,

Nobody wants to be the light.
