Notte Stellata

A piece I wrote in my youth, for a particular girl.

I look at the stars tonight,

They shine brightly against the midnight blue.

I glance over to see the moon,

the opal in the sky.

 

I look at the moon,

and it reminds me of your eyes.

 

Shine on brightly and forever,

my sweet opal treasure.
