The Wet Wet WorldA Poem by hihatThis was an English piece that I wrote that was based on water.
The world is just two thirds of water
And people everywhere have always thought of Diving into the deep blue sea To see the underworld, or sneak a pee. We live with it, clean with it, Bathe in it, can't breathe in it Water is a very strange thing, It's thicker than air, but not like string. To take a sip of this cool invention Is a refreshing moment -- oh, did I mention That you can intake this liquid-like device? It can clean out your systems. Now isn't that precise? If you ever have a day with nothing to do Take a trip on a ship, or lounge by the pool. It's such a nice moment when you can stare at the water The reflections make you look funnier than you ought to. You see, water is a precious thing Full of complicated physics that are amazing Amazing water that falls through your hands Now isn't that something grand?
