Don't Ignore

Heard the shatter.

Saw the shatter.

Looked away.

Thought of oceans.

Rolling waves.

Thought of days.

Bright blue skies.

Clouds that changed

with time.

Thought of snow.

Falling delicately.

Forming smiles.

Making memories.

Thought of light.

Seeking through

the darkness.

Searching the unknown.

But..

The shatter couldn't

just be ignored.

And thoughts were

just thoughts.

And reality was reality.

I know what feeling can bring out this writing. There is a reason behind every shatter, though thoughts are just thoughts and reality is just reality. Such a simple and thought provoking poem.
