The Cure for Modern Madness

The Cure for Modern Madness

A Poem by Carl Fraser

Without a cure  for modern madness,

the world just melts away;

Innocents are slaughtered in the name of God,

while tender hearts rot and decay.

Rich men point fingers to boost the hate,

some payoff is their prize;

Lies are spun by corrupt Governments,

and another homeless child dies.

Protests are now laughed at,

or they gun them down in shame;

Some claim to know a better way,

but God doesn't know their name.

The cure for modern madness,

lives deep within our hearts;

To understand the reason we were created,

and step up and do our part.
