The Hope of the Broken Hearted

 

Some say that the broken hearted

are shy to love once again;

And that your just better off alone

than to reppeat that kind of pain.

 

But I was created to love another

even though my choices have let me down;

So I guess i'll keep on trying

until the one for me is found.

 

Perhaps romance will come again one day

and I shall savor and breathe it all in;

And cherish every blessed moment,

and pray true love will win.

 

I will trust that my God created

that special someone just for me;

And we will tie our souls together

and march towards eternity.
