His Spirit in Me

His Spirit in Me

A Poem by Carl Fraser

Accumulated scales of blindness
 fell like torrential rain,
there  was no more sadness,
 and no more pain.
You touched my heart
 that wastorn in two.
and you breathed in me
 a life renewed.
You peeled away rags
 I'd worn for years,
and dressed me in white
 as you caught my tears.
You taught me to walk
 and take a stand,
and molded me into
 your kind of man.
You are the Holy Creator
 of time and space,
and now I see this world
 bathed in your glorios grace.
Im so thankful for the day
your light on me did shine,
and your Spirit filled me
 with your mysteries divine.
Your majesty is above all things
 I could ever comprehend,
I will bow to you always,
 forever my  friend.

I love this; it filled me with love and appreciation. It made light my heart as I read it because I am dealing with some painful and fearful realities in my life. Thank you for the wonderful re-adjustment of focus on God's ever Powerful and Loving Grace. Just ask for Holy Sprit and he will give it.
