It Is Not Wise To Play With A Rattler

It Is Not Wise To Play With A Rattler

A Story by Vertigoingnowhere

Here’s a little story about a stupid girl and a stupid boy. The stupid girl fell in love with the boy. The boy was said to make the stupid girl very happy. The stupid boy put on quite a show. He was one hell of an actor. The stupid girl had no idea it was all an act. She never realized that the stupid boy was such a gifted liar. All that the girl wanted to do was play a harmless little game of love. Too bad she didn’t read the rules. The stupid boy decided to play with a newfound toy; her heart. She thought it to be a little strange, but went along with it. The boy sprinkled lies, mixed with betrayal, and topped it all off with as a pinch of cheating. He liked to play catch with her heart. One day, when he got tired of playing his little game, he threw her little heart to the ground. Eventually the girl found her poor, broken heart shivering out in the rain. By the time she had discovered his dirty little secrets he was gone, he had found another to play with. The girl sat by herself, confused and lost as the stupid boy ran off being careless and reckless. The moral to this sad little tale, is to be careful, boys, when you deceive a girl. One day your twisted secrets and lies will come back and bite you in the a*s. Remember to watch your back when you play out your little act. With your lust filled lullabies and your poisonous words. Next time you might be the one who gets fucked over. Keep the word mayday in mind, wildfires tend to spread fast and someone always gets burned.

This was a venting piece. A way to blow off some steam about a little jackass I used to know

oh, i do hate the young boys who ruin it for the men who know how to treat a woman with love and respect...truth is though, that all men were,at one point, young boys...learning the many nuances of love. the ones who embrace love grow up to adore its finer qualities. the ones who fear love just never grow up emotionally, they leave all the posturing up to their Penis....and women generally aren't impressed by posturing, but young girls are....that is why young girls get their hearts broken....they believe in the young boy posturing, which is mostly all an act. we are all players in the role of life...some are villians, some are heroes, and some of us are just who we are and will always be....very good write!

Good piece HSA... lessons learned hard... when trust is broken it hurts so much for who knows who the players are when we're young? Even when we're older it can still be easy to be duped... hope your heart has healed xxxx

This has a really good start to it. There are some more obvious points that I feel could be worked on a bit such as, if you are going to repeat the terms 'stupid boy' or 'stupid girl' do so either every time or only at the beginning/end. And in order for the moral to make sense, it should be demonstrated in the story how the boy suffers as a result of his actions or the moral should be changed to maybe something a bit more cautionary from the girls perspective. But regardless of whether or not this is a 'venting piece' I think that it has legitimate potential for being a really good and solid short story or poem.

LOL, good write. :) I suggest not calling the boy "stupid" more like...Fuckface a*s-s**t-hole-go-die. Reminds me of the song "If I were a boy" by Beyonce. Very strong.
