Standing Alone, In The Pouring Rain, DearA Poem by VertigoingnowhereI stand alone in the rain Not to morn the lost or the feel the pain I feel the cold, wet, drops that glisten in the moonlight, hit my face I'm not a depressed soul or a broken grace I'm not some lonely little girl in a huge messed up universe I am a girl who always sees the best in people after i've seen their worst I am a girl who is damaged, not tragically cursed I feel others pain very easily I am not a selfish wanna be Or trapped in a cave, could be I never give up on people, even if all hope is lost I believe there is good in everyone, that their goodness should be voiced, no matter the cost So if you ever see me standing alone, watching it pour All i want to for you to stand with me, loving the rain, forever more So please boy, dont see me as just broken I'm more then just alive, hear my words, i have spoken
