You are a paperback book

Fragile, wrinkled, torn

With a broken spine

And worn pages.

You are a paperback book

Filled with things to say

Messages to pass

Stories to tell

People to love.

You are a paperback book

And just like a paperback book,

You shouldn’t end

Before the story gets good.
