Compunction

Compunction

A Poem by Jenn

I don’t know what I was to you.

I don’t know if you care.

But I’m sorry.

I’m so sorry.

I can’t ever take it back,

And it’s too late for amends.

But I’m sorry.

I’m so sorry.

For what I did to you,

And for what you've done for me.

I’m sorry.

I’m so sorry

That all I have to say

After all is said and done

Is that I’m sorry.

I’m so sorry.

I regret it every day.
