Her eyes dark as ever

her skin soft as can be

her life full of sadness

her eyes upon death

My eyes upon her

as she smiles i giggle

as our bond of love grows

her fears will vanish

once i am with her.

A wonderful little piece. It has great meter and wonderful figurative language. The only thing I found that made the poem a bit shaky was the repeating "hey eyes". See if you can replace with another phrase and keep the same meaning.
