 mixing truth with fictional fears

wiping the spit from my eye

I understand this sort of hell intimately~ you bring its raw edges out from the victim who won't be victimized to the vivid forefront~

I was talking to someone about this sort of non relationship nightmare the other day and she had asked why I was accomodating at my own emotional peril~ I told her I wasn't ~I was appeasing~ I said something like this

when you "accomodate" someone it's because you genuinely care about their emotions and mental well being~ when you "appease" someone it's to shut their whiny f***ing mouth the f*** up already~ =)~

these mental vampires abound~ and you gotta have some extremely strong reserves to survive their merciless canines~

I think of this one as one of anger and of violence....i would probably be holding myself in murderous anger ....wanting to kill or severly wound another who had help me down like that.....

This reminds me of my relationship with my father and how our fights usually go. Me holding back tears with my head held down, desperately trying not to kick him in the shin while he yells in my face about how immature I am or how irresponible I am or something along those lines. Just trying to keep it together so we can mantain some sort of civility around one another when we aren't fighting. Very relatable write, very raw, and very inspiring. Thank you for posting!
