Blinded

Blinded

A Poem by Muse

Just like the sun,
your smiles so bright.
Find me;
illuminate my night.

Overwhelmed I am,
Just a shadow; no touch.
This empty void,
at times, is just too much.

Like the sun,
penetrate me with life.
Rescue me;
from the internal hate,
this strife.

Blinded by my darkness!

Blinded by my
evil deeds!

Blinded by my
sinful needs!

Like the sun,
your smiles so bright.
Cure my darkness,
blind me;
with your light!

Well I could not put it better myself ---- I mean the positive views and opinions of so many of my reviewing predecessors ... I love your "Blinded by my
evil deeds!

Blinded by my
sinful needs!

Crammed full and overflowing with subliminally erotic messages that tantalise and tease. A real treat at breakfast time. Shame that I have to set off for the gym, but I will be back. AGT's N

I agree with what Craig said 100%. I can so relate to this, the words right now are swimming in my head. Staying the dark for to long can cause one to be blinded by the light but in this case you are drawn to the light. I understand this, yes I really do. You out did yourself on this one Muse. I will keep this in my favorites. xo

In your shades and shadows you call for light, while dancing in the dark.. the blindess of it all holds you back.. How one life can set another free from chains.. and in just a smile or flicker of eyes.

Painfully insightful, but wonderfully written with beautiful flow and candid economy of words... vulnerable yet forceful.
