Walking across water

Walking across water

A Poem by Muse

You are a mortal with an immortal's soul

listening...

to the platonic voices of reasoning

owning a conscience that filled you with clarity

confident hands that divided the seasons

composing...

words of symmetry and curiosity

revealing your awesome beauty and mystery

your two feet barely touched the dirt of the earth

you preferred...

to walk across water or walking on air

gravity seemed to move your energy elsewhere

the cosmos gifted you with a gratis life

you knew not...

how lucky you were and how lucky you was

to be weightless and do whatever just because

This reminds me of someone so close to heart and then so out of reach. Almost like a lover never touched. Of course I relate everything to my life because I'm selfish that way lol... but honestly it touched that part of me, that waits on the other side.. with arms wrapped around my knees and simply silent...xo "breathe me"... sigh

I loved reading this piece. The way the words flowed like the water He/she walks across.
Great write Muse as always.

Simply lyrical , this write has that elusive feel to it . Like something within your grasp yet unable to hold onto . Lovely imagery deep yet light in execution. Beautiful.

Your poem reads to a part of the passions that has not been born but walked the earth in a miracle of nature's creation to help man get started. Its a poem that ought to touch everyone who reads it, more so the very neighbours who share your inspirations.

It intimates the possibility that it will be in the flesh someday. It persuades man to take up the cause. Nature always does something for a reason. Well done Muse and tks.

it flows smoothly as the earth beneath my feet or the air gushing across me or the sudden burst of water i walk upon, i felt the flight of your words as if gravity lifts your emotions. Well done my friend!

Beautiful, there's a dream-like quality about this... other-worldliness.... something we all want to grasp while still in these mortal bodies... you've touched these qualities in your words and the images you've created. The music and image add to it all.... thank you again for such beauty.. and wonder.... xxxx

The picture, the song, the poem.. it's like a touch of beauty.. it's like a little piece of heaven. The most stand out factor in this poem is the flow.. It's amazing. Reciting the words out loud makes this poem feel like gravity but then there's the meaning the words.. makes you feel like your floating in space.. a calmness .. like you're walking on water. Solace in your words. Thank you for uploading, Favorited.

Immortal...this word generates the elusiveness of thoughts within Universal skies, created with the musical background of escape...one could be the thought itself, or one could find that the escape is into the imaginative adventure each word and thought you have given us to fly away...with you

nicely written piece Muse...

I love the tone of mystery in this piece as if I'm floating walking without gravity, seems so mystical. This is great!
