This reminds me of someone so close to heart and then so out of reach. Almost like a lover never touched. Of course I relate everything to my life because I'm selfish that way lol... but honestly it touched that part of me, that waits on the other side.. with arms wrapped around my knees and simply silent...xo "breathe me"... sigh

I know where your mind it sweetie...I hope he will breathe the same air as you someday.
Photo and words were beautiful. I drove in the mountain of Honduras in 1994. It was a sunny day. All of sudden it was cloudy. The Honduras woman saw my wonder. She told me. You are driving in a cloud. The poem took me to this day. Thank you for the amazing poetry.

A little unorthodox and I like it that way, how did you get the music to play in the backround? It's a very nice touch.

That opening line is amazing, Muse. It seems like such a simple realization....we are all immortal....but do we ever really feel that? Recognize it? We are far more than we ever give ourselves credit for, I think.
To me, reading this, I felt a sense of calm and peace. Not walking on the water in a Christ like way. Not gliding on the air like a god. But rising above the depths of despair and soaring on mended wings, as nothing but a human...who will live on forever.
If we could just do whatever we wanted now....what would we do "just because?"
LOVE this. Truly. Serene and comforting poetry.

love the picture, love the poem. like a breath of fresh air, this was a relieving and calming, the way poetry should be. the bridge disappearing into mist gives invitation to cross, to see the other side and the secrets which lay beyond. a dull sense of curiousity amidst the numbness of the ''just because'' interesting contrast there. completely stunning.
I recognized the spirituality just from the picture alone, your words are what guided me along. There are metaphors within this that to me represent clarity of heaven and the fog of earthly living. To cross over and see the depth and meaning is the goal. Life here is but a moment.

thank you...there's guiding light in all of us...I need to believe this. xo
This is incredible...a stunning ode to idols, which can come in many forms, but I think this piece is applicable to all of them...the last two lines end it perfectly...great work :)
