Supernova HeartshineA Poem by NadiWritten for my girl Kaidee Not much else to say
If today was the last, I would slip A ring of Saturn around Your finger And watch the ice and Dust Melt against your skin
We would dance amongs Jupiter moons Rotating around us like Electrons Of an atom Because they're negative space Compared To our supernova heartbeats
Your starshine eyes Will seek out mine: your Lashes Curling like the arms Of the Milky Way Veiled Nebula mystifying in intensity
Surrounded by nothingness You only shine brighter; you are more Vibrant But your starlight Is on the inside Your Heart And your veins shine Like stardust Through your skin
Because to me you are My star And I know you are My wish That will always Be true
