A Pretty Girl

A Pretty Girl

A Poem by Hickory Dickory
"

For a special someone, happy birthday.

"
Once I saw a pretty girl,
Whose eyes are soft and sweet.
I knew from that very moment,
That none is prettier than she.

Once I met said pretty girl,
Her kindness shone so bright.
Her caring nature felt so true,
In the dark, she was the light.

I got to know this pretty girl,
And discovered her big talent.
For her art is better than most others,
I’d say, the best on the whole planet.

I really love this pretty girl,
And although she may not believe me,
This pretty girl is my world,
That’s what I guarantee.

She really is a pretty girl,
As pure as a white dove.
So happy birthday pretty girl,
Have the best day, my love.
