Nature's course

Nature's course

A Poem by Hickory Dickory

The rustle of the trees,
And the splash of the rain,
As Nature takes its course.

A soft, gentle breeze,
To hide all the pain,
Buried behind closed doors.

A pretty cool distraction,
From the hurt deep inside,
So I'll fake my reaction,

And push the truth aside.
