I Love My PetA Poem by Tony HwilkaFor Helen's poetry contestAt night I let my pet the moon Run freely into the sky meadow To dance with fireflies of the night
Feed on shadows lurking earth Drink from oceans - seas or lakes With stomach full he looks his best
With happy thoughts and shining bright He finds a spot of space to rest the night A smile so large he mirrors the sun Warms my heart and I -- I love my pet © 2009 Tony HwilkaFeatured Review
