Over Slept

Over Slept

A Poem by Tony Hwilka

Love the dark; in darkness I am alive

thrill of adrenalin thrusting blood

through my arteries.

Starting my heart to beat, beating fast

Manuvering lid of my casket open

I must get out - out quickley

before my heart explodes

Must find a woman who meets my needs

Must be ample and ----

I only have a few hours

Yes! I tell you -- a few hours

It's not going to be easy

but I am a survivalist, yes

my curfew soon approching

Must be home before the sun

That's the VAMPIRES CREED.

LOL.. A vamp tale! Yes, the good vamps are always the survivalists..
The sun can be quite hazardous.. must get home in time after a quick drink at the bar of Arteries.
Where veins and vessels are the house specialty! :)

Great tale! :)
