Greek Goddess

Greek Goddess

A Poem by Tony Hwilka

In darkness

          her body a milky way

breasts rounded --

          marble to touch

Standing proud

           vision from gods -- divine

through mans sculpture -- wholesome

Artist's complete soul

           in every crevice

Whispering to Zeus

           his hands rubbing her warm

to the brink -- alive

Suddenly

           bursting in ecstasy

cracking posture

           demons revealing true form

Holding her feverishly

she trembles -- quiet and quick to dust

He -- he goes to shower

in very crevice - did you mean "very" here or perhaps "every". It reads a bit odd in the stanza as it is, but I can see what you mean if you did mean "very".

A wonderful write with a great visual. Bravo.
