lol. i would have to agree with mary ann. your saving grace was your author's note. cute. as for the discussion on men ever listening to what women want: i think the problem is not only that men don't listen, but as you said, the younger the woman, the less she knows what she really wants, let alone who she really is. more often than not you do have the sad instance of a young woman trying to fit herself into a mold of what she thinks a man wants as opposed to accepting that she must be loved for what she really is, not pretends to be. funny, the actions that are motivated by every person's desire to be loved. enjoyed this line of thought.

In my opinion when young, NO. Because women try molding them to their perfect man. And when that phase is over most men will start because they realize you love them for what they are and not what you tried to change them to. A man must feel he is loved as much as he loves her and everything else is second even the kids. Yes he will listen then, because his sole goal in life is to make his lover, wife, HAPPY. So says Tony Hwilka.
Yeah.. your saving grace was your author's note. Otherwise this review might have taken quite a different tone... LOL.. Although, I have often wondered.. Man will always ask woman to tell... but does he truly listen???
In the land of poetry I've been very luckly. I have had my own poetry show on radio station WTTM Trenton N.J. reading my poetry from 1982 -- 1990. Was president of the Southern Poets of N.J. and still.. more..
