Lyric of A LongingA Poem by EvangelionAn old poem of mine from my ninth grade.
In this hollow scheme
I wait, longing for a blurred thing Thoughts flying high, playing with pretty dreams For them I wait, and give it I will A line of smile on these lips Waiting, forever I'm longing Drowning in a sea of human being But I wake in reality, so lonely And to the sky so high my thoughts fly If only you're here, how would it feel? Waiting for a sweet, sweet hope Shame to me, waking in reality scope Those I wait never come, all has gone Restless they are, my dreams and hopes Even so, still I long for their shadows My dreams, are they hopeless? My heart keeps asking, yet the brain answers Yes, the angels won't come, it is meaningless So then my soul laughs in desperation Never mind, I lie, 'tis okay to let go In the opera of disappointment I sing, moan, cry to all A lyric of a feeling so dead With a song of dream so endless A song of the unfinished long
