Deathly UniverseA Poem by EvangelionInspired by the sadness by the death of Alan Rickman (1946-2016)
Here's a universe
Where 'tis all better or worse Where impossible turns possible And possible turns impossible Find words turning to breath A whisper of air, good or bad The sweet goodness lift high the head And the bitter gives hearts the wreck Then, all goods have tinge of black Give the angels sense of desperate While the vain humans will break Tears crying for bones that cracked Could you see those breathing words? Intruding your heads and on Overcoming your lungs to choke Imprison hearts with lost locks Then your breath will hold its blow While in the moment a human's gone The second in your time rests from ticking Same time his stopped from living Human it is to cry, so they say But the soul knows none like a pain Those hearts of longing, sadness, wrath The mourning of someone's death O, how great devastation To ignore the earth like none Hurting like unnameable demon Ruthless, furious, vicious to the bone And those mouths will speak The flying words will try to soothe But then, my friend, no meaning it makes For to me, spoken they are in no volume Isn't the universe selfish? The ego of those wishes Passion trapped in righteousness Vanity surrounded by mightiness And the earth, has it any care? Will it mourn human's death? And the ground, never will it break Has it no eyes for those who are sad A process it is, so they say The good and bad, glad and sad My dear, is that not empty sentence? For even the wise men avoid the case Thoughts: humans are great, many they create And the words they swallow, make it their breath Another selfish and arrogant words lie on the bad But in the end, the vanity is swallowed by death And so is the universe, my friend Where impossible turns possible And possible turns impossible A place where might turns ignoble
