He Loves me

He Loves me

A Poem by Kasey Nichole

He Loves Me

The light blue petals
stain my fingertips as I
whisper
"he loves me"
although I know he does
not.

Forget-me-not petals
die at my feet
collecting in a
morgue
of blue death as i
whisper
"he loves me"
although I know he does
not.

But love is not child's play.
Because a broken heart is
serious
it has even ended
lives
when you realize that
"he loves me"
NOT.

I don't use the words I love you lightly so that is a misconseption about men but I can sew how a lot of them now a days do use it for there own selfish reasons but I really like the the structure of your poem and the way it was protreyed.

You made a great poem here, it really seems to come out of the heart.
What a poem, my favorite lines where the one that I put up there, a broken heart is really something we can't explain, make us go in a bad state too...
Well thought out poem.
