I Love to Hate You

You know what? I’ve spent so much time hating you, I forgot to love myself.

I do hate you.

I hate what you did to me.

I hate how you’re acting now.

I hate that you love her.

Ironically enough, all this hatred that my soul has harbored for you has only led to a deeper love for myself.

I love the way I loved you.

I love how strong I am for still breathing even though sometimes I swear it’s killing me.

I may hate you, but I sure as hell love myself.

And no matter how hard you try, you will NEVER be able to change that.
