Make a Difference

Make a Difference

A Poem by Kasey Nichole

Don't look right…. He might see you.

Don't turn left…. She might judge you.

Don't look weak….. They might pick on you.

But don’t be too confident…. They might break it.

Everything you do is seen…

Wandering eyes, intent to be mean.

Things won't change, at least not right now…

You're one person… not a whole crowd.

Keep telling yourself that,

You'll get no where in life.

Despite, what you think, you have talents and dreams.

These things do come true, indeed they do.

Not just on TV but in real life too.

I see this as a possitive message...just like the title "Make a Difference." This is how a lot of us feel from time to time, but with always having these fears inside our heads we seem to freeze up and not want to try doing anything just so people won't look down on us if we may make a mistake. Life is a learning process, we all make mistakes and hopefully we will learn from them and make a difference in our lives and in the lives around us, in a positive and encouraging way.

Good Job
