my sister's now an angel

written for my sis ve who passed 16/11/11

her life began in 49 and lasted 62

and in that time here on earth

she loved me and you

 

she made us laugh

she made us cry

but loved us all the same

never was our ves life

in vain.

 

she'd give you her last penny

her hand to pull you up

a giggle when you were sad

and of cousre tea in a cup

 

she would always get the kettle on

and listen to us all

now the day that god has come

our Ve he then did call

 

i need a gal like you he said

im sorry but you have to leave

earth and all your loved ones

im truly in your need

 

ive seen you lighten faces

and loved all down on earth

ive a few lost souls up here with me

i could do with all your work

 

youve took it on the chin always

and really struggled through

i really really do

need an angel gal like you

 

you wont be far from loved ones

your all inside their heart

just because you come to help

from them you;ll never part.

 

heaven now will oh so be

a much much better place

i wanted you to shine up here

with so much love and grace

 

you were so brave and loved below

im sorry i had to take you so

you stood your ground

you loved so strong

and allways did your best

 

i only take the good ones

and you really passed the test

brave courageous and

really one of the best

 

 

an angel in my heavens

so strong and loving too

they wont be sad for too long

they will keep on loving you

 

you'll give them strength

you'll do my work

and you will always do your best

and now my dearst vera i have lay

you down to rest .

 

the gardens bright and cheerfull

your pain as all now gone

and your love will last for eternity

you will go  on and on

 

they will find you at the rainbow

as you told them that you would

if they could be here right now

you know they really would

 

but not untill i call them

my dear angel ve

you wait at the rainbows end

untill they come to thee

 

you have a heart of gold our Ve

it really does shine through

our day will come

when we can join you

 

keep them on their toes ve

and really make em laugh

god has chosen a diamond

he really chose the best

 

please enjoy your garden

and enjoy your rest
