Sonnet Two

Sonnet Two

A Poem by hershey's kiss
"

my second sonnet attempt.

"

I'm finding our love is a whirling trapese act.
One would look on and say, "How on earth is this
Being done? Surely nothing can try to attack
This." It's true, one's heart for the other is
Rock-solid, unmoving. I reach to you always
For protection and security, for I know
You're always there - to listen during my bad days,
To catch me if I ever fell or let go.
But I see that this marvelous friendship
Is not, nor ever will be, a free ride.
How can I expect you to trust me in hardship
When I don't tell the whole story? I'll never hide
Facts from you, anymore, I will tell you all.
I'll reach out and trust you, for you won't let me fall.
