Trapped

Trapped

A Poem by A.Sage
"

My very first poem, written about a week ago.

"
I accept you in open arms
I care not where I go
As long as you take me
I will travel with you,
wherever the wind blows

I welcome you into my life
Do as you please
Alleviate my pains and sorrows
with relative ease.

They tell me to stay away
but it's so inviting.
Take my breath away
there will be no denying.

I march to the highest peal
for you, where I could and wait
But you don't arrive
you tricked me, led me with bait

I'm left without strength
And you, a nice laugh
you deceived and worried me
my courage, as weak as glass

oh death, I played your games
And now I'm left here
for you to beat me again
until my time is near.
