New vs You

New vs You

A Poem by Crowley

We trade the joy of now
For the comfort of known
When comfort turns to sand
And the morning lights our way
New again meets us gushing
We go to bed two days later
With burned fingers
Wishing for soup and television
Holding hands on the couch

Wow! So much said in so little words that still touched the heart of the reader.
