Posturing

Posturing

A Poem by Crowley

     "What's wrong?"

"Mincing words is a past time for you. By my calculations, we could have saved four hundred and thirty two hours in the last year alone if you would have just told me the truth, the point, or the issue at hand. The fingers of my mind are sore from prying. My intellect is tired of flanking. Most of all, my heart is tired of speculating on whether you are worth the time it takes to deal with your need to avoid taking responsibility. Frankly, I think I'm done with your constant posturing"

     "Sex?"

     "Ok."

haha - Like a dog that runs through the door to his dog dish when his dinner bell is rung, sex is a highly motivating factor for men when it's offered and available. Good one. :)

What do you mean by that! does this fedora make my head look too big? I thought you would never ask:)

You can't live life without getting into a loop. History repeats itself and reality always settles in. It takes a lot to make progress and not repeat mistakes. This is what I got from this write. Nicely penned. tyfs

Yeah, a little bit of fun. It is an endless loop. Thanks so much for reading. I appreciate it!
Highly honed illustration of why I never got married. Every couple I know, as you say, gets tangled up in petty arguments that have nothing to do with the affection or lust at hand. Way to show instead of tell! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Hey Margie!!! Thank you and I hope you have great holidays as well! Love ya!
Im not sure why some people have such ar hard time asking for what they want, Maybe its because they have to fight their way through the sheer emotion or admittance of it first. I am not one of those people, but I live with a dozen in my life. lol

I have to say it hasn’t always come easy to me either. Thanks Q!!!!!
Nail on the head, or what! As for those four hundred and thirty two wasted hours, I can think of much better things to do than mincing words. :))
