Birthing a Savior

Birthing a Savior

A Poem by Crowley

Her pinpoint voice

An infants noise

Flew past my life at four thirty

On labor day, nineteen eighty two

Her now enormous words

An inspiration to the world

Went supersonic Christmas day

Cradling humanity in supple hands

The world responded with cheers

And caught the comets tail

interesting write. great, well-chosen words and feeling. a mysterious saviour much like the mystery of a fine woman birthing salvation. you've skillfully captured the essence of an almighty deliverer and rescuer. a comet is an explosion of light coming into the atmosphere and leaving a trail of brightness in it's wake if i may be so bold as to draw that analogy. man would be wise to follow this star ... :)

There are five million stories in this city. This is one of them. 😀
Love how the comet passing heralds a beginning of life and where that life is on their own journey, as well as in the cycle of the comet.
It would be just too good if she was called Hailey 😀

Thanks Larry, I appreciate it!!!
I am wondering who the Saviour is in this write Crowley? What I do know is just how important that Labor day in 1982 was to you. The comet's tail is indeed special. This is a deep write with much between the lines to contemplate methinks.

It’s going to be up to women to save the world. Thanks Chris!!!
each birth is much like the savior's...although we haven't quite got the responsibility...although the mother's love is constant and consistent, no matter the mother nor the infant...
but i also see this as being born to the muse...we are like her children doing her work...
a very thoughtful write with lots of complexity between and in the lines.
