My Time

My Time

A Poem by Crowley

It's my time, I am in the basement shredding old habits
What grows out of uncertainty is a seed planted in eroded soils
New root structure and constant watering will produce results
And thinking about a new path brings vitality and new mountains that reach

It's my time, the sunlight, while harsh at first, crisps rotting edges
New growth comes by way of action and reflection, I think about my place
Those that have enjoyed my light in the past will be happy for the restoked fires
And the change that comes from the center, filaments reweaving my universal presence

It's my time

Thank you so much!!!
This is a profound, intellectual contemplation of personal and private moment in time. Reassessment of life. You speak with confidence and perseverance. A positive and auspicious deliberation. As usual a delightful treat.

you are welcome in fact more than..
i go down to the basement to sit and watch "my time" TV...drink me pint of beer and refuse to be bothered by anyone or thing ;} not much room for change but the roots go deep into my worn, well formed couch! ... i like the revitalization going on in your poem ... the crisping of rotting edges especially speaks to me ... no need to fear the sunshine after all ...thought provoking with sound wisdom .. something to take down into my cave with me today :))))))))))

It is, and the clock is ticking. No interest will be accrued, nor refunds given, so grab it by the throat and live the s**t out of it while you can.
It is now 4.11 am and I'm slurping coffee and having coco pops for breakfast. I'm living on the edge 😀
If you ain't living, you're dying, and there's plenty time to do that later.
A great read to start a Thursday in anyone's book 😀

So glad I could give you a start...usually I give people a start in other ways...lol. Thanks!!!
You've been zapped with a new zest for life Crowley. Is it contagious? I hope so :) Liking this revived you. We have a pub over here called The Rose Revived, you just made me think of that. Enjoyed your lines.
