Hero Worship or He Almost....A Poem by CrowleyWhat an a*****e...I made him bacon, eggs, chocolate dipped strawberries Matching napkins and silverware placed just so....nerves He sat, bedhead raging, smelling of last nights wine and words Why wasn't he wearing a shirt? I took mine off to make him feel comfortable, racing heartbeat I said....I really like your poetry, blushing, slumber party girl He said.....hmmmph.....thanks, pass the salsa I said.....looks like it might rain He said.....now you're a weather man? He said.....I read one of your poems last year He said....Senryu....hate to read, its all I could muster I said....annnnd?
