Trinny Can You Hear Me?

Trinny Can You Hear Me?

A Poem by Crowley
"

Not sure why, but I love this one.

"

Trinny, lie down by my side and breathe

Your perfect skin glows brightly as that star

You start to speak poetry about the days

When we were clean and the stars were just stars

You'd scorch, you'd melt

The life you were dealt (alas dear child)

Is fraught with white specters

And full-on black tigers

Who'd fancy your pelt

Trinny, don't you f*****g cry on me

Your perfect heart like an egg, colored for easter

Fragile, painted upon, eaten with salt and pepper

Speaking tirelessly of making love under the trestle

You'd teach, you'd track

It's mounting your back (heavy dear child)

You wail at the specters

And stab all the tigers

Who'll pick up the slack

Trinny if you die, I'll kill you, I swear

I love the way you feel naked, all consuming

I rub my shaven face on your back, your buttocks

You coo and shiver as you ask me to hand you grandmas afghan

You'd squint, you'd smile

I walked the hard mile (loving dear child)

I'd marry the spectres

And tame all the tigers

Whose life is on trial

Trinny..... Can you hear me?

No doubt this would make a heckuva song C- like Van’s Brown-Eyed Girl (love this like I love that!). Musical with sing-along-perfect rhythm and rhyme. Delightfully passionate but with a honed edge. Kindred, skin-dred (made it up-so what?) souls and bodies dancing under “grandma’s afghan” with a barely remaining innocence and joy. Hard-knocks muted for a glorious moment by sweet love sounds. And then there’s “rooster lips” ....that just about melted my heart. I know Trinny heard you, and so do I.

I don't even think i know what you are talking about here...but i almost have an intention to read it as a lifetime..stages...i wanna breathe birth to death in it. I am amazed, aroused, and debilitated by it. Anyhoo, i kinda like it too.

Ps. I think Dee's analogy of it is valid...dioggie style poetry....a hoot!
