Creation minds the fort like a seasoned b***h

Watching your impish moves like a fat security guard

Who hates your guts and waits patiently in the shadows

For you to step lively out of line, he screams the rules

Back to your place, wannabe

Show me your face, wannabe

It shines it's light cruelly

On your festering weakness

Creation sits on your head like a fifteen year old brother

Suffocating your lines, the ones you scratched in blood

Your ode to a long lost love, the one that will bring down the house

Sits awkwardly in the public eye, withering from lack of interest

This is the case, wannabe

You lost the race, wannabe

It snickers behind the back

Your confidence hopelessly grounded

Creation has to be manhandled like grandmas hope chest

Lugged up three flights of stairs and perfectly placed

Holding the secrets that you will let fly on your time

Spanked thoroughly with an open hand, sexy, rose colored hand prints

This is your space, wannabe

Pick up the pace, wannabe

You win the staring contest

When creation can't keep up with you

gulp.... Airmen Trakofler reports as ordered! Yes Sir this Airmen thinks you've got it back Sir! now drop and give me 50 lines! everything you said in basic when responding to an officer had to be started by saying that line.... "airman____reports as ordered it drove me nutz having to say that sounded like bad English cant tell you how many times i got it wrong and did drop for 50:) this read like a jackhammer Mr. Crowley loud and proud poetry here damn when you come back you comeback

I too was in the Air Force...lol. Sir Airman reports...Sir Airman Rowley reports as ordered. I did get into a bit of trouble in basic getting caught doing an impersonation of one of the less brilliant drill sergeants. They heard through the day room door, I was in day 25 and the flight on the other side was in day 30. They called me over and ordered me to do it. "Do what" I answered. Do it. So I did it and got a standing ovation and let off the hook. Was the longest walk of my life to the other side of the barracks though. Thanks man!!!

I was in the 3711 bmts perched nicely by the ornamental F-86 to confuse the enemy bombers into thinking our dorm was in fact a hanger and an excellent target:) and they wonder where we get our sense of humor?

I was an Industrial hygiene tech, part of the Hospital squadron and for a long while lowest ranking and had to take off my gas mask first during readiness exercises. Thankfully our own never gassed us...lol.

um, tough room.... er creation... creation is like the journey, not the destination... to paraphrase in cliche... I dig how one stanza deftly illustrates how intimately your dance with creation, while the next contrasts how little creation thinks of your Gene Kelly prowess... Somewhere between is the succulent fruits of your journey, keep sharing.
