red gloves

red gloves

A Poem by Jay Ryan
"

I didn't intend on writing this, but I did.

"
The water won't dilute this gin on ice
I pick up my red gloves, wonder if I will ever finish this fight
Sometimes it's like looking in a shattered mirror,
I see myself; my biggest fear
There is no solution to this pain
I work, I strive, i try to train
Maybe one day, i'll be myself a dear
able to see in an un-sractched mirror
