Unstable Grounds

Unstable Grounds

A Poem by herohappenings

Why does he dissolve his dreams

in the mistakes of the his past?

 A shroud of disillusionment,

A fog of thick sorry memories…

Almost in comatose

he wanders through

 the swampy marshland

hoping to God he doesn’t

stumble into quicksand.

 I don’t know how his

dreams keep breathing

while he march on through

his own toxic mangroves.

The landscapes oozes with his

glowing chemical nightmares.

And I am haunted still

by the leftover thoughts

of mad scientist.

Poetry intrigues me. I write as a method or assessing the world as it forms around me. I've never published or displayed my words but I'm still interested in what others have to say. Please, let me know what you think. I'd love to know.
