Sweet and Free

Sweet and Free

A Poem by Grace Kobylinski
"

What a first kiss should taste like.

"
You are the first kiss I have not regret in five months. The first kiss in five months that has not tasted like tar. I had completely forgotten that kisses are supposed to taste like strawberries being eaten outside on a sunny porch. They are supposed to taste like summer-sweet and free, not heavy and dark like winter.
