This is beautifully written. It has the flow of a song, a rhythm that's easy to get lost in. I enjoyed your use of metaphors based on legendary figures and historical events. To me this poem comes off as very laid back as if loving and keeping things together, even if the world is against you, is easy if you want it badly enough.

I envy you for being able to write something like that, it's nicely written, but what's more important about this is the fact you obviously feel this way about someone, or at least have done. For that I envy you. It's nice.

The imagery is cute but powerful, like you're so secure in what you're writing because it would be impossible to just invent it out of nothing less than that loyalty and devotion found in another person.

It's youthful but has a lot of wisdom and accumulated backbone to it. I like it.
